Anita Kovacevic is a multi-genre author of both children's and adult fiction, poetry and non-fiction. Her belief in the power of storytelling has been strengthened through her years of teaching and training other educators. She has collaborated with various worldwide educators and authors on anthologies of short stories and poetry, dedicated to strengthen education, anti-bullying, kindness to everyone, care for animals, and literacy and reading in a family and school environment. Anita enjoys writing stories which come to her on her 'dreamstep', blending reality and magic, and has a quirky fondness for writing limerick stories. She lives with her family and pets in Croatia. She graduated from university with a degree in English and Spanish Literature and has been teaching English to various age groups for many years. Whenever possible, she is an active volunteer in the local branch of an association dedicated to working with children and families (Društvo Naša djeca Dugo Selo). Her first Croatian book was published as the basis of their joint project Čarolarije, an ongoing series of workshops for children, educators and parents. Free time? - Non-existent.
